Exclusive American Idol Marathon On Star World

Before the grand finale, catch every episode of the latest season from May 16-19.

For the first time, STAR World will air every episode of the latest season of American Idol, as part of an exclusive weekend marathon. Before the 22 May finale, fans can revisit every off-key audition, every barb from Simon, and every one of the finalists' star-making performances.

Starting Fri 16 May at 1pm (UAE), STAR WORLD will run all 33 episodes of American Idol to date in a back-to-back telecast. The all-day marathon will continue through Sun (18 May) and conclude on Mon (19 May) at 1.30am (UAE).

American Idol's latest season has been eventful. From Michael Johns' shock exit to Paula Abdul's critique of a performance that hadn't happened, and the celeb-stacked spectacle of Idol Gives Back, Idol-philes have had plenty to buzz about. Those who missed this year's wonderfully woeful auditions, Kristy Lee Cook controversy or guest mentors can catch up on all the drama with STAR WORLD's American Idol Marathon.

STAR WORLD viewers will also be the first to learn who wins this year's American Idol. As the two remaining singers take to the stage at LA's Nokia Theatre for the final showdown, fans can catch their make-or-break performances on STAR WORLD's direct-off-satellite telecast on Wed 21 May from 2pm and an encore telecast at 9pm.

STAR WORLD will also bring fans the American Idol Results 'Live' on Thu, 22 May at 4am (with an encore telecast at 2pm).
